Lincoln Property Company Boston is pleased to announce that Vicarious Surgical, Inc. (NYSE: RBOT) has completed a new 30,000-square-foot lease expansion into 62 Fourth Avenue, Waltham, MA. The 30,000 square-foot expansion comes only eight (8) months after Vicarious relocated from Charlestown into 42,000 square-feet at 78 Fourth Avenue, Waltham, culminating in a total of 72,000-square-feet. LPC Senior Vice President, Tim Latham represented Vicarious Surgical in both the original relocation and the more recently announced expansion.
“Vicarious initially relocated into 78 Fourth Avenue, given that the facility’s existing office and R&D condition aligned well with Vicarious’s space needs,” said SVP Tim Latham. “The building was previously the headquarters for Boston Dynamics, an R&D intensive robotics business, so it was a natural fit. Furthermore, Boston Dynamics had also vacated the 30,000-square-foot adjacent building at 62 Fourth Avenue, which offered a clear path for future growth needs.”
The expansion into 62 Fourth Avenue is directly adjacent to Vicarious Surgical headquarters, representing the second building within the company’s budding campus. The expansion will add additional manufacturing facilities and four operating rooms for demonstration and testing, as well as enable Vicarious Surgical to welcome broader hospital and surgeon engagement.
