MARLBOROUGH, MA (January 17, 2017) – LO Marlborough Data Boston Inv., LLC and Lincoln Property Company announced today that TierPoint has expanded its Marlborough location and will now be occupying 110,331 RSF at 34 St. Martin Drive.
TierPoint took 22,289 RSF of expansion space, restructuring and extending their lease on their existing 88,024 RSF to accommodate growing demand for their data center. This deal marks the second expansion within the past two years at the Marlborough location, one of TierPoint’s largest facilities. “Because of its location approximately 30 miles west of Boston, there is high demand for the specific type of facility from clients seeking a hybrid IT provider who can deliver a variety of solutions” said Jim Owen, Vice President and GM of TierPoint.
“Increased demand for TierPoint’s data center services was the driving force behind their expansion and fortunately ownership was able to accommodate their growth, while simultaneously restructuring their lease terms. Ownership was pleased to accommodate the properties largest tenant and their lease extension will provide long-term stability for the property” said Tim Latham, Senior Vice President of Lincoln Property Company.
