BOSTON -The Boston office of Lincoln Property Company, a full-service real estate firm providing leasing, investment sales, property management, appraisal/valuation, and development and project management services to a wide range of clients, today announced that it has brokered a 21,000-square-foot office lease to the Division of Capital Asset Management on behalf of The Massachusetts Department of Public Health at 99 Chauncy Street in downtown Boston.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, a state agency that serves all the people in the Commonwealth, particularly the under served, and promotes healthy people, healthy families, and healthy communities, renewed its 14,000-square-foot lease and added an additional 7,000 square feet, totaling 21,000 square feet of office space.

Michael S. Edward, SIOR, Senior Vice President at Lincoln Property Company, which serves as an exclusive leasing agent for the building, represented the landlord, AP Levin Real Estate, in the transaction. The Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) represented itself in the transaction.

“The 10-year lease renewal and expansion brings the 11-story, 100,000-square-foot office building to 92 percent occupancy,” said Mr. Edward. “This renewal and expansion allows the Department of Public Health to maintain their office at 99 Chauncy Street, without the disruption of a major relocation.”
